New Escape Room Learning Games for Gary and Indiana
The kits are "escape room" type experiences where students are left in a room with clues, puzzles, and locked boxes and must work together to search the room, crack codes, and eventually unlock the last box that will allow them to escape. One kit features Octave Chanute, an early aviator who worked with the Wright Brothers and conducted experiments in the Gary dunes.

The 50th season of Saturday Night Live airs on September 28, and the 13th annual Kansas Book Festival in Topeka is also on September 28. The LEGO Discovery Center in Washington, DC, offers teachers free and discounted entry until September 30, except on Saturdays. The Comeuppance runs at DC’s Woolly Mammoth Theater until Sunday, October 6.
