On Monday, November 14, 2022, my brother and I joined a growing movement of small developers investing in a city that has experienced divestment for more than 40 years. On our street, four homes sitting on spacious 75–feet wide midwestern lots have been recently renovated.

Black Wealth Tour Begins In Houston
Over the next two years, the tour will include more than 60 cities as NAREB organizes classes, workshops, and one–on–one counseling to advise families on homebuying, investing, and careers in real estate. There is also a course on heir's property, educating people on how to properly pass along real estate and protect themselves from gentrification. The Houston stop is Saturday, October 7.
