As an African-American “mutt” who works with Mandinka’s, Fula’s, and Jola’s in The Gambia, I was alarmed when I heard and read from other people who identify as African American question Vice President Kamala Harris’s Africaness.
Just as the 2021 Insurrectionist shared and acted upon deception and are now being called to justice for storming the US Capitol, I question whether the internal insurrectionist who spread such disinformation on Harris should be held accountable, too? While the internal insurrectionist’s damage may not be physical, there actions are undoubtedly a form of voter suppression because they lead to more confusion, questions, and doubts, then damper enthusiasm and support.
Unfounded anti-Harris and anti-Biden words stitch doubt in the minds of many, confuses them, and discourages them from using their voting power. And, this is what people like Tom Cole want.

Tom Cole (R-OK), who earned an F from the NAACP, is scouting for such breaks in the wall, but he has other tactics, too. He told Politico, “We will press [Democrats] hard on the floor over the next two years to set up repeated situations where their vulnerable members have to cast tough votes.
