Whether their interest is in sports, arts, science, or outdoor adventures, there’s a camp just for them. Parents and campers can expect:
- Hands-on Creative Expression – Art, theater, music production, and even digital media camps spark creativity.
- Action-Packed Sports & Recreation – Basketball, soccer, tennis, and even swimming lessons keep kids active.
- STEM & Innovation – Robotics, coding, and video game design camps provide engaging, tech-focused fun.
- Outdoor Exploration – Nature hikes, environmental science, and survival skills camps encourage a love for the outdoors.
Most camps operate Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 4:30 pm, with before and after care options available at select locations for the convenience of working parents. To ensure more children can experience the fun and enrichment of our summer camp programs, the Kids to Camp Scholarship Application for 2025 is now open!
This need-based scholarship provides Prince George’s County residents facing financial hardship the opportunity to send their child to an M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County camp. Additionally, fee assistance is available for qualifying families.
“Summer is a time for kids to explore, grow, and make lasting memories, and we are proud to offer an incredible variety of camps to help them do just that,” states Director Bill Tyler of M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation. “With activities ranging from sports to arts, STEM, and outdoor adventures, every child can find a place to thrive.”
