Join the Port of Harlem Gambian Education Partnership (POHGEP) on Saturday, June 29, for the 11th Annual HBCUs Run the District 5K Run/Walk and Community Day. The Washington DC Metro HBCU Alumni Alliance, Inc. and the Alfred Street Baptist Church are hosting the event as part of HBCU CONNECT's 25th Anniversary Celebration.

Whether you're a local or from afar, you can be part of the 5 K run/walk. The in-person event is at Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals. But if you prefer >the virtual option, you can participate from any location, at your own pace, and time it yourself.

At the in-person event, event organizers will have an area called ALUMNI ROW. It's a place for HBCU alumni, family, friends, and supporters to reconnect and socialize. Each HBCU Alumni chapter will have tables set up, providing information about their respective colleges and universities.

Vendors will be available and open for business to all attendees. POHGEP will be in the non-profit vendor area.
