With a very generous $1,000 donation from Michael Ricks of Wyoming, we raised more than 40 percent of our goal of $2,460.
Then, with a donation of $90 from Donna Smith and $200 from Ronald Lewis, both of Washington, Douglass Commonwealth, we are now at more than half of our goal.
Last year, we received contributions from Idaho to Douglass Commonwealth (Washington, DC), but this year, wherever you are, we need your support now.
School starts in The Gambia Monday, September 25, but with a jump start of funds, we can now send the funds early to give our associates more time to buy the backpacks and other supplies during the troubling rainy season when many things slowdown or come to a standstill in many areas.
Thanks,
