Champion Services Travel (CST) has developed a business trade mission and vacation tour package to Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. “We are presenting travelers and entrepreneurs an opportunity to join our partnership with the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Cape Town Chamber of Commerce that matches African-American business people with like-minded South Africans,” says CST owner Bernadette Champion.

CST continues to benefit, as a participant, from its first business trade mission in 1998. “Many American travel companies sell Americans pre-packaged tours; so did we until we attended a South Africa – US 1998 business trade meeting,” she explained. It was at that meeting that she began to understand that she had more choices than those presented in off-the-shelve packages and is able to create her own packages customized for her travelers.

In addition to visiting Johannesburg and Cape Town, CST will tour Pilanesberg Safari and Victoria Falls.

Today, Champion adds, “CST enjoys a network of industry contacts that over decades have solidified into a family-like bond. Our broad range of contacts allow us to tailor tour packages such as this special business trade mission and vacation tour package.”

Champion thinks an array of businesspersons will benefit from the face to face meetings including writers, teachers, musicians, computer technicians, and clothing designers. To facilitate the matching of American and South African businesspersons, trade mission participants must complete a one-page Trade Mission Application.

Travelers and traveler/entrepreneurs will depart from Liberty Airport in Newark, New Jersey and Washington Dulles Airport. In addition to visiting Johannesburg and Cape Town, CST will tour Pilanesberg Safari and Victoria Falls Wednesday, February 15 to Monday, February 26. The cost for the 11 night and 12 day business and cultural trip is $6,495 for single occupancy and $5,395 for double occupancy.

Non-business persons are welcomed on this tour and participation in the business trade mission exchanges are not mandatory and free. “Bring your favorite walking shoes, business potential, and let CST provide memories and possible connections that you will have for life,” adds Champion, who has been cultivating lifelong relationships with travel partners and members since 1987.
