Today, an estimated 6.7 million Americans suffer from Alzheimer's disease, and experts expect that number to increase rapidly as the baby boomer generation ages. Although there is no cure, there are steps you can take now to reduce the impact on those affected.

Although we have beautiful beaches in the United States, only a precious few (including perhaps in Hawaii) could rival those such as on Tanzania's island of Zanzibar. We found it to be so lovely that my wife and I ditched the group to spend time alone.

The movie musical, which was filmed live in Jerusalem, is a poignant and entertaining portrayal of how music and spirituality formed an unlikely friendship between rockstar Rabbi, Shlomo Carlebach and legendary singer and activist, Nina Simone.
