Our last issue, Oct 07 – Oct 20, 2021, had an “open rate” of 42 percent, with more than 4 of every 10 subscribers seeing and opening Port Of Harlem magazine in their email. Our typical open rate hovers around 30 percent and the average open rate for all companies who distribute their information via email using the Constant Contact platform is only 18 percent.  

Our “click rate,” remained high at 22 percent while the average is only 9 percent for all companies who distribute their information via email using the Constant Contact platform. The click rate is how many readers “click” and open an article.

The last issue was the first to present the magazine in a new format. The new format includes small line separators and “Read More” buttons. You may have also noticed that your fingers may need to perform less size adjusting movements to see the magazine. There are also new share buttons at the button for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Interestingly, we lost two subscribers and gained two new ones. “While we hated to see those two subscribers go, we are excited that our remaining subscribers are so loyal and enjoy the magazine so much that they propelled us to new heights, ” says Port Of Harlem publisher Wayne Young.
