Tucker has a passion for helping people reach their fitness goals and make changes that improve the quality of their lives. She believes in the principle of lifetime wellness - - that exercising and making nutritious food and beverage choices should begin in childhood and continue thru adulthood.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education from McDaniel College and a Master's Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from the California University of Pennsylvania. She is in her 12th year as a physical education teacher for Prince George’s County (Maryland) Public Schools.

Tucker regularly makes presentations at professional development workshops for County physical education teachers and has presented at the annual Maryland Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (MAHPERD) Convention and the Georgia Association for Health, Physical Education Recreation, and Dance (GAHPERD) Convention. Tucker is currently the President-Elect of MAHPERD.

She is a certified group fitness and certified cardio kickboxing instructor. She is also the director for instructor training and professional development for Go Go Fitness LLC.
