The Anacositia Art Gallery and Boutique will celebrate its 3rd anniversary with an artists market, candle light concert with Wendy St. Kitts, and Achosen Generation and a poetry slam just up
the hill from the Smithsonian’s Anacostia Museum. 

The three-day celebration kicks off Friday, October 3 with a reception for emerging artists Dion O. Jacobs at 5p.

The Marketplace is open Saturday, October 4 from 11a until closing, the concerts start at 7p.

The Marketplace reopens Sunday, October 5 from 11a until the open mike Poetry Slam starting
at 1p.  Registration for the Poetry Slam starts at noon.  The Grand Prize winner will receive $500.
