penned a creative and thrilling tale of two Louisiana brothers and a
mysterious man who threatens to drive them apart. The contemporary play
magnificently plays fast and loose with West African tales.
The
play centers around Ogon, an auto mechanic, his brother Oshoosi, a
recent parolee, and Elegba, Oshoosi’s old prison mate. At the
beat of the drum, Ogun attempts to help his brother find a better life;
Elegba tries to keep him back. The
Brothers Size runs from Tuesday,
January 2 to Saturday, February 10.
