Giveaways, advertisers’ promotion, top Instagram posts reported, and Smile.Amazon donations to the Port Of Harlem Gambian Education Partnership (POHGEP) are all happening in upcoming issues of Port Of Harlem.

Giveaways –
In the next issue, we will give away a set of tickets to a lucky subscriber to the first of three plays in The Till Trilogy. The Trilogy plays at the Mosaic Theater in Washington, DC.

Congratulations to C. Francois of Lorton, VA and N. Vernon of Largo, MD for winning two free tickets each to see Thomas A. Foster ‘s “Rethinking Rufus: Sexual Violations of Enslaved Men” presentation in Alexandria, VA.

Advertiser’s Promotion – Thanks to Port Of Harlem reader Donna Smith for asking for a list of advertisers that she could easily share with a friend. Access to the list is at the bottom of each page by just clicking “Advertisers.” As a reminder, we will now occasionally post the above banner on our webpage and the square one on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Instagram –We will begin to using Instagram along with Facebook, YouTube, our web page, and email to share content including Port Of Harlem magazine. Please follow us on Instagram. In Readers’ Trend, you will soon begin seeing the top Instagram post from the previous two weeks.

Smile.Amazon.ComWhether a fan or not, every time you make a purchase via Amazon using Smile.Amazon.Com, Amazon will make a donation to a charity of your choice.

Hopefully, that choice is the Port Of Harlem Gambian Education Partnership. When you don’t use Smile.Amazon.Com you are just allowing Amazon to keep the profits.

As we countdown to our 25th birthday in November, we encourage your feedback on these and other issues.
